Varsity Spring Break Trip Information

We are excited to finally provide the final details of our Varsity Spring Break Trip to Orange County, California, 4/6-4/9.

A few things to note:

• This is a Team Travel event. The Team is expected to fly down on 4/6 as a Team. They will stay in the Team Hotel. Eat as a Team. Travel to and from games/events as a Team.
  • Even if the parents decide to go to Orange County (as many of us are), this is a drop off (4/6) and pick-up event (4/9).
• Due to many families wanting to extend their Spring Break. NO RETURN FLIGHTS have been booked for players. If the players would like to return with the Coaches, there will be an additional cost for the plane ticket

The cost of the Trip is $1300 per player and includes inbound airfare, 3 nights accommodations, ground transportation, all meals, a day at Knott’s Berry Farm, and tons of Memories bonding as a Team.

We realize that while this trip is a terrific value and great for Team cohesion, it is an additional $1300. To help with that cost, we will be hosting an online fundraiser through RallyUp starting this upcoming Friday 3/8, that will last through Friday 3/22. The goal is for each player to raise a minimum of $500 that we will pool together, to offset the cost of the trip. A form will be sent home with your player after practice this week. We ask the parents to help the player fill out the contact information for potential donors. Think grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings…

Coach Rainville has graciously committed practice time to conduct a “call night blitz” at Practice this Friday for the players to call/text/email their potential donors. Please help us raise as much money as possible for the trip.

What we need from the parents (please respond by Friday 3/8):

1. Please email ryanlstokes@gmail.com with your Player’s commitment for the Trip.
2. Indicate if the player will be flying home with the coaches or the parents will pick-up at the Hotel on 4/9 at 9:00AM. The additional cost of the return flight right now is $154 from SNA to SEA.
3. Payment will be due on 4/1, with the amount TBD depending on the success of our Fundraiser.
