Coaches

Graham Horgdal
Graham played at Mercer Island High School, graduating in 2009. He coached Mercer Island 7/8 for 4 years. In 2016, he was named the defensive coordinator for MI’s Varsity team. He has coached multiple All-State and All-American players.
In 2019, Graham was named Head Coach for Squalicum High School. He coached the youngest team in the Northwest Conference to the Conference championship and helped lead the team in winning it’s first playoff game in program history.
In 2020, he joined the Juanita Program as the Offensive assistant for the Varsity team and became Program Director and Head Coach in 2021.

Ryan Hooper
Ryan is originally from Everett and played on Mukilteo Lacrosse, (now Kamiak Lacrosse).
He went to the University of Colorado - Boulder where he took a break from playing.
After graduating, he continued to play lacrosse as LSM on Steelhead Mens Lacrosse Club. Ryan also enjoys skiing, biking, being outside, and traveling.
In 2021, Ryan joined the Juanita Program as an Assistant Coach.

Walter Valenzuela
Walter started coaching in 2002 when a friend needed help at The Overlake School. He spent 6 years at Bellevue where he coached all levels year round. Three of the last four years at Bellevue resulted in state championships.
Walter was the program director and varsity head coach at Shorecrest HS for 4 years. Prior to that he had been mainly on the eastside in King County. He spent 3 years at Lake Washington with Coach Hush and 2 years at NSI (Newport, Sammamish, Interlake) as the JV head coach and varsity helper.
In 2022, Walter joined the Juanita Program as an Assistant Coach.
