Josh Matte
Josh Matte has nearly a decade of coaching experience and a philosophy that emphasizes respect, accountability, and inclusion. Coach Matte will further the culture of preparation, competitiveness, and resilience within the Juanita Lacrosse community.
As the owner and operator of The Northwest Goalie Academy, he trained more than 30 athletes went on to compete in NCAA programs nationwide.
In addition to founding the region’s leading goalie academy, Matte has coached with Seattle Starz Lacrosse, Redmond High School, and the LXTC Goalie Evolution Academy in Denver, Colorado, where he trained under renowned coaches Trevor Tierney and Ryan LaPlante. He has also served as a positional coach with 253 Women’s Lacrosse and South Sound Lacrosse, mentoring elite high school athletes pursuing collegiate opportunities.
Joey Matte
Joey Matte is an offensive minded coach from the Seattle area. He started playing lacrosse in kindergarten and played through high school until injuries stopped his career. He played for Eastside Catholic’s varsity team for all four years, winning the state championship in 2017, and played for Seattle Starz and West Coast Starz in middle and high school.
He believes in building an offense from the ground up, hammering the fundamentals so players are set up to succeed when asked to do more. Through his coaching, he aims to further players love for the game while maximizing their development.
Dallin Ferguson
Dallin joined the Juanita Program in 2025 after relocating to Washington from Utah.
